My MIL keeps the dambar (naphthalene balls) in all the cupboards and the smell is everywhere in the house. Now that im pregnant the smell hits me even more and im worried if its harmful for baby. Should i ask her to remove them?
I just stayed away from road work and strong paint smells during both pregnancies. Cover your nose and move to fresh air, simple as that. Dont sit in it for long.
I would have panicked too honestly. But one short exposure is usually okay, just dont stay near it. If you are really worried ask your gynac to calm your mind.
Strong fumes like tar or dambar are best avoided, keep windows open and stay away from it. If you feel dizzy or sick from the smell then please tell your doctor. No need to panic over a small whiff though.
