I do aerobics classes 4 times a week and we just started trying for a baby. dont want to stop my workout but also dont want it to affect chances. is it fine to continue or should i go lighter? anyone been through this?
With my PCOS, my doctor encouraged regular moderate exercise as it actually helped my chances. Aerobics in moderation was fine for me. Just keep it balanced, extreme workouts can sometimes affect cycles, so dont push too hard.
I kept up my aerobics class while we were trying and it helped my stress and fitness. Once pregnant I shifted to gentler stuff. Keeping active is good, just dont exhaust yourself completely.
Moderate exercise is actually good while trying to conceive, it keeps you healthy. I did light aerobics and brisk walks during that time. Just dont overdo intense workouts, and check with your doctor if you have any conditions.
