Can we do laser treatment on face during pregnancy?
I had laser sessions booked for pigmentation but just found out im pregnant, around 7 weeks. Now im unsure if i should continue or pause it till after delivery. Did any of u do it during pregnancy or skip karna better?
I've been wanting to get my upper lip laser done so badly because of hormonal hair growth, but I am too scared. Have any of you completed your sessions while pregnant or did you pause them?
With twins, I barely had time to wash my face, let alone think of laser! But seriously, doctors say no to lasers during pregnancy due to lack of safety studies. Just stick to simple threading or waxing for now.
I had to pause my laser hair removal sessions when I got pregnant. Looking back, it was the right decision because hormonal changes make the treatment less effective anyway. Don't worry, your skin will glow naturally!
I avoided all clinical skin treatments during pregnancy just to be safe. Even after my C-section, my skin was very sensitive, so I waited a few months before starting any advanced facials or lasers. Safety of the baby comes first!
Since skin absorption and sensitivity change a lot during pregnancy, it's best to avoid laser and strong chemical peels. Just like being cautious with our diet to avoid issues like diabetes, we must protect our skin from harsh radiations.
