Kathal curry is my favourite and it is cooked at home today. I am 17 weeks but still relatives scare me about some foods. Did anyone eat jackfruit while pregnant?
We eat kathal at home and even during my pregnancy I had it in small amounts, cooked properly. Elders sometimes say avoid too much but in normal quantity it was fine for me. Still I checked once with my doctor and she was ok with it.
In my time the elders used to say eat ripe jackfruit in moderation only, not in big amounts. The cooked sabzi is fine. Just keep it limited and you should be okay, but everyone's body is different so ask your doctor too.
One thing, ripe jackfruit is quite sweet so if you have sugar issues like I did, go easy on it. I had to watch all sweet fruits. If your sugar is normal then small portion is generally fine, but mention it to your gynac.
