Im 20 weeks now and so curious about this. My cousin said she could hear the heartbeat at one checkup and it sounded so sweet. Is there any way at home or only at the gynac? Pls share if anyone has tried.
Baby doesnt really make a voice you can hear from outside. What u hear is the heartbeat during the doppler check. After delivery you'll hear plenty crying trust me, so enjoy the quiet now.
Haha if only we could hear them, mine probably would have been demanding biryani at 3am even then. No voice inside, but you get the heartbeat at scan which honestly is the cutest sound ever.
My amma always told me to talk and sing to the baby and it stayed with me. You wont hear baby's voice but baby hears yours. The heartbeat at scan is the closest, such a beautiful moment.
My doc explained the baby's vocal cords are not really used inside the womb because there's no air, so there's no actual voice. But baby can hear YOU from around 2nd trimester, so talking and music helps. The heartbeat is what we listen to at appointments.
Not exactly the baby's voice na, but I heard the heartbeat at my scan around 7 weeks and honestly I cried. That whoosh whoosh sound stayed in my head for days. Ask your gynac, they let you listen during checkup.
