Im 7 weeks and noticed a tiny bit of light brown spotting today when I went to washroom. Got scared honestly, no pain or anything but still. Did anyone else have spotting and baby was totally fine? Planning to call my gynac tomorrow but just wanted to know.
Please dont just google this and calm yourself, i did that and regretted. Spotting can be totally normal but it can also be something that needs checking. Just message or call your gynac and tell exactly what colour and how much, they will guide.
My doctor told me a little spotting in first trimester is common, can be from the cervix being sensitive or implantation. She said note the colour, amount and if pain is there. Anything heavy or with strong cramps means go in immediately. So light pink/brown usually ok but always inform them.
Yes light spotting can happen, specially early on. But there's a difference between few brownish drops and actual bleeding. If its bright red or with cramps, dont wait, call your doc same day.

Dont panic okay. Sit down, rest a bit and just inform your gynac about it. Many women spot and go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies, but let the doctor be the one to say its fine.
