Do i need to drink water for pregnancy ultrasound?
Got my scan tomorrow morning and im confused, MIL says full bladder chahiye and someone else said no need. First scan so im clueless. Do i have to drink lots of water before going ya not?
I panicked during my first scan thinking my bladder wasn't full enough. But honestly, the clinic staff was very helpful and just told me to drink two glasses of water, it was totally fine.
Yes, usually for the early first-trimester scans, they ask you to hold your urine so the baby is clearly visible. For later scans, it isn't always required.
I have heard that drinking water helps the ultrasound waves pass through easily, making the early image clearer. It is best to ask the clinic beforehand.
