Just found out im pregnant, maybe 5 weeks. Getting these mild cramps on and off like period pain and it makes me nervous everytime. Is some amount of pain normal this early? anyone else felt this.
Yes, I felt mild cramps like period pain in the early weeks and got so scared. My doctor said light cramping is normal as the uterus adjusts. It really helped to hear that, but I always called her if it got strong.
Mild pulling and cramps early on are common, it's the uterus stretching. Nothing to panic about usually. But if the pain is sharp, one sided, or comes with bleeding, call your gynac immediately.
I had those little aches in the start and kept wondering if it's normal. Reading that others felt the same calmed me down. As long as it's mild na, but I did mention it at my checkup.
