I feel hot even when fan is on and everyone else is comfortable. I am 12 weeks and nights are especially sweaty. Is feeling extra body heat common, or should I mention it to gynac?
Yes beta, feeling warm is normal. My whole pregnancy was in summer and I felt like a heater inside. Just stay in shade, drink nimbu pani, wear soft clothes. It passes after delivery.
My doctor told me the metabolism speeds up and blood flow increases in pregnancy so the body naturally feels hotter. She said it's expected. But she also said if I ever felt actual fever with chills or above normal temperature I should call her, since heat feeling and fever are different things.
Haan it does, your blood volume goes up so you feel warmer than usual. Both my pregnancies I was sweating while everyone else was cold. Keep loose cotton clothes and drink lots of water, that's the main thing.
Feeling warm is normal in pregnancy. But please dont confuse it with actual fever. If you ever check and it's a real temperature, or you feel dizzy and unwell with it, ring your gynac instead of waiting. Just being careful.
Omg yes yaar, actually I had the fan on full even in monsoon. My husband was freezing lol. It's the hormones and extra blood. Cotton kurtis saved my life that time.
