I've been tracking my hCG levels, and I'm a bit worried because I heard they should keep rising. Does hCG decrease at some point during a normal pregnancy? I'm hoping it's not a bad sign.
Usually hCG levels peak around 10 weeks and then they naturally go down and stay stable. Don't compare early pregnancy blood test reports with later ones, go for regular ultrasounds instead.
Actually it drops in the second trimester, so don't get scared. I remember asking my doctor about this during my recovery post C-section when we were reviewing old reports. It's just how the body works.
Haan na, starting me it grows like crazy but after 10-12 weeks it starts decreasing thoda. Mere saath bhi same hua tha, don't worry everything is fine.
Oh yes, it totally does after some weeks! In the beginning it goes up super fast but then it drops a bit and stays steady. Absolutely normal, enjoy your journey dear! 🌸✨
Honestly I panicked so much seeing my hCG levels go down around week 12! I thought something is wrong but my gynac laughed and said it's totally normal for levels to drop after the first trimester. So relax, nothing to worry about.
