These days i just crave lemon in everything, nimbu pani, dal, even plain with salt. My MIL keeps saying too much khatta is not good in pregnancy. Is there any truth to this or is it just an old saying?
We use lemon in food daily even in pregnancy, my mother always added it to rasam and rice. It's perfectly okay in normal quantity. Only watch out if it triggers heartburn for you.
Beta lemon is totally fine, in fact warm water with a little nimbu helped my nausea so much in early months. Just dont go overboard if you have acidity. Nothing to worry about with a normal amount.
Lemon was my lifesaver during morning sickness honestly. I used to just smell it or have nimbu pani and the queasy feeling settled. It doesnt harm the baby, its a normal food.
