Does lower back pain in early pregnancy mean miscarriage?
Im around 6 weeks and since 2 days have this dull ache in my lower back. No bleeding or anything but my mind keeps going to the worst. Im planning to ask my gynac this week but till then so anxious, did anyone have back pain early on and baby was fine?
I understand the fear behind this question, I really do. Back pain by itself is mostly normal, but listen to your body. If something feels off or there's spotting, just get checked, no shame in calling doctor for peace of mind.
Mild back pain alone usually doesnt mean miscarriage, lot of us get it as body adjusts. But if its with bleeding or strong cramping, pls dont wait and call your gynac immediately, better safe.
Beta, dont scare yourself. Lower back pain is one of the most common early pregnancy things. Just keep an eye for bleeding or severe cramps, and any doubt, ring your doctor.
Honestly I overthought every twinge in my early weeks too. Back pain made me cry once thinking the worst, but it was just normal stretching. Try not to spiral like me, but do mention it at your next checkup.
Most of the time its just hormones and the uterus growing. That said, back pain can mean different things for different people, so the safest is to describe it to your gynac and let her assess.
Back pain in early days is super common, ligaments stretching and all. I had it both pregnancies and both were fine. Pain alone is not a miscarriage sign, dont jump to that.
