I have pcos since years and it took us long to conceive. Now that im pregnant i was hoping maybe my hormones reset after the baby comes? Has it actually improved for anyone post delivery or does it stay the same.
My doc explained PCOS is hormonal and stays with u, but symptoms can become milder after pregnancy and with diet, exercise etc. It can also come back. So managing it is ongoing, not a cure.
I totally get why ur asking this, the PCOS journey is tiring. It usually doesnt go away completely but pregnancy and good habits can help symptoms. Be kind to urself ok.
It doesnt magically disappear, but it can become easier to handle. I noticed my cycles were a bit more regular for a while after delivery. Stay on top of diet and checkups.
Honestly PCOS doesnt fully go away, its a long term thing. For some it improves after pregnancy esp if weight and lifestyle is managed, mine got a bit better but didnt vanish. Keep up with ur gynac.
From what my doctors told me during treatment, PCOS stays but can be managed and may feel lighter at times. Pregnancy isnt a cure for it. Just keep following up regularly, ur doing great.
