Does pregnancy test show positive after implantation?
I read about implantation and now I am trying to time my test. I had light spotting two days back and period is due soon. Does test become positive only after that?
Yes but not instantly. After implantation the hCG hormone starts rising and takes a few days to show on a test. My doctor said best to test a day or two after your missed period for a clear result.
I read about this a lot while ttc. Basically a faint line can come around the time of missed period. If u test too soon it can be falsely negative even after implantation, so dont lose hope on one test.
Implantation happens first, then hCG builds up over a few days, so testing right after implantation can show negative. Give it till the missed period and use first morning urine for the clearest line.
I was testing too early in my excitement and getting faint or negative lines, it stressed me out. Once I waited till after the missed period it showed clear. Patience is so hard but it helps.
