Just found out im 6 weeks pregnant, first time so honestly thoda nervous. Everyone at ghar is telling me different different things, koi kuch koi kuch. Can someone list what i should actually avoid in these early weeks? pls share.
I just crossed my first trimester and honestly, I was so scared to even bend or walk fast. My doc told me to avoid heavy lifting and eating raw papaya or pineapple. Did anyone else also feel super paranoid about every little movement in those early weeks?
Just had my baby boy last month, so I completely understand! Biggest don'ts are smoking/drinking obviously, but also try to avoid outside street food because food poisoning in early months is the worst. Rest as much as u can, your body is doing so much work right now.
Make sure u don't skip your routine blood tests, especially thyroid checks because levels fluctuate a lot in first trimester. My doc caught my high TSH early and started meds, which was very important. Rest wise, avoid lifting heavy buckets or stretching too much.
Gentle reminder to not stress yourself with too many online lists. Just avoid self-medicating for even small headaches or cold, always ask your doctor first. Also keep yourself hydrated and don't skip your meals even if u feel nauseous.
Same here, currently in my 11th week and keeping things simple. I have stopped eating outside raw salads and strictly avoided Chinese food with ajinomoto. Are u guys also avoiding tea and coffee completely or having a little bit?
