Do's and don ts during first 3 months of pregnancy?
Just entered my first trimester and honestly im scared to even move sometimes lol. Everyone gives different advice so confusing. Can experienced mommas share the real dos and donts for early months pls.
Oh my god, the first trimester is so scary, I used to worry about every step I took! Please do take your folic acid daily, and definitely do not eat raw or half-cooked food, it can cause infections.
This is so helpful to know! I am also planning my pregnancy and keeping notes on this. Everyone says to avoid papaya and pineapple in the first trimester, is that true?
Focus on getting enough sleep and eating small meals to manage morning sickness at work. Don't take any medicines without doctor's permission, and skip long commutes if possible.
Beta, in the first 3 months, keep yourself calm and avoid lifting any heavy buckets or climbing stairs too fast. Drink warm water if you feel bloated, but don't take any strong herbs without asking your doctor.
Just eat whatever you can tolerate right now because nausea is common. Don't stress too much about perfect nutrition yet, just stay hydrated and take your prenatals.
Try to avoid high-intensity workouts and stay away from heavy weights. I stuck to normal walking, but please talk to your doctor before starting any prenatal exercise or yoga!
