tested at home n it came faintly positive, but a part of me doesnt fully believe it yet. how reliable are these kits actually? did urs match the blood test later?
They are quite reliable yaar, just dont test too soon or you might get a false negative and stress for nothing. Use morning urine after your period is late. If confused, lab test will settle it.
I tested too early first time and it showed negative, freaked me out. Tested again after my period date and it was positive. So timing really matters, dont panic on an early negative.
Home tests are quite accurate if you do them right, after a missed period and with morning urine. Testing too early can give a false negative though. If result is confusing, a blood test at lab is the most accurate confirmation.
They are generally accurate but the trick is doing it at the right time. My app reminded me to test only from the missed period day, and that gave a clear result. If still unsure, get the beta hCG blood test, its the most precise.
My doctor said home kits are very reliable when used correctly, especially from the day of missed period onwards. A positive is usually trustworthy, but a negative could just mean too early, so repeat after a few days. The lab blood test is the gold standard if you want certainty.
