Me and my husband just started planning for a baby and honestly im a bit clueless about timing. We've been married 2 yrs but never really tracked anything. Would love if someone explains how it actually happens, feeling shy to ask anyone in family.
Simply put, around ovulation when an egg is released, if it meets sperm, conception can happen. Usually the few days before ovulation are most fertile. If its not happening after a year of trying, then see a doctor.
We are also trying so I read up a lot. Basically the egg releases around mid cycle (ovulation) and that window is the most fertile time. Tracking your cycle helps a lot to know the right days.
For most it happens naturally around the fertile window. But every body is different and it can take a few months, thats normal so dont panic early. If you feel something is off, a doctor can guide you gently.
I started using an ovulation tracker app to find my fertile days. Knowing when u ovulate makes a big difference honestly. Also folic acid before trying is good, my doc suggested it.
