How does stress affect pregnancy in second trimester?
I've been feeling quite stressed lately with some family matters, and I'm in my second trimester. I'm worried about how this stress might be affecting my baby and my pregnancy overall.
Actually yaar, high stress levels can trigger acid reflux and sleeplessness in the second trimester. I had a really crazy phase at work, but I had to consciously slow down for my baby's sake.
During my second trimester, I had a lot of work stress and noticed I was getting more headaches and fatigue. Once I started meditating and taking breaks, I felt much better, but I always kept my doctor updated.
Stress can release cortisol, which might affect your sleep and energy levels, and even baby's movement sometimes. I found that doing simple breathing exercises helped me stay calm and transition smoothly into late pregnancy.
