How does the doctor check your cervix during pregnancy?
I have my checkup next week and gynac said she might check my cervix, im a first time mom so thoda nervous about what it involves. Does it hurt? Just wanna mentally prepare myself. Pls share ur experience.
They usually do a quick internal exam using two gloved fingers to check if the cervix is closed or softening. It's a bit uncomfortable but takes less than a minute, just take deep breaths and it will be over before you know it.
Just keep chanting a small prayer or focus on your breathing to stay calm. The doctor will gently do a physical examination, and keeping your mind peaceful will help relax your muscles so it doesn't hurt. Take care!
The doctor will either do a transvaginal scan in the early weeks or a physical manual check later in the third trimester. It is completely safe and standard, but you can always ask your doctor to explain the step before they start.
Haan na, starting mein tension hoti hai checkup ki. Doctor bas touch karke check karte hain manually, thoda uncomfortable hota hai but pain nahi hota. Just stay loose and take deep breaths during it.
Beta, don't worry about it too much. The doctor just does a gentle physical check with gloves to see if the baby is ready. Just keep yourself relaxed, drink a glass of warm water before going, and trust the process.
