How early can twin pregnancy be detected?

Twins run in my family so i have this feeling it might be twins for me too. Im around 6 weeks and going for my first scan soon. At what point does the scan actually show if its two? So curious.

Mine showed up around 6-7 weeks on the scan, two little dots and I nearly fell off the table haha. The early ultrasound is usually when they spot it. Get ready for double everything if its twins yaar.

Usually by the first scan, around 6-8 weeks na.

My doc said an early ultrasound around 6 to 8 weeks can usually pick up twins. Higher hcg levels sometimes give a hint earlier too. The scan is what confirms it properly though.
