Im so impatient and my period is due in like 4 days only. We are trying this month and i really want to test asap but dont want a false result either. How early did u all get an accurate result?
Most home tests work best from the day your period is due or a day or two after. You can test a few days earlier but you might get a false negative if its too soon. Use first morning urine for the clearest result.
I tested like five times because i couldnt wait haha, total overthinker. Honestly waiting till the missed period saves so much stress and money. And a blood test at the lab can confirm even earlier if youre really anxious.
I was so impatient and tested way too early the first time, got a negative and felt low, then it was positive a few days later. So i would gently say wait till around your period date, saves you the rollercoaster.
Home kits are most accurate from the first day of a missed period. Testing earlier can miss it because hormone levels are still low. If you test early and get negative but period doesnt come, just retest after a few days.
My app reminded me to wait until the missed period for accuracy. Some sensitive kits claim 4-5 days early but theyre not always reliable that soon. First morning sample gives the best reading, thats the tip that worked for me.
