How early can you get an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy?
Got my positive test couple days back and im so eager to actually see something on a scan. Dont know if its too soon to go for ultrasound or i should wait few more weeks. When did u all get your first scan done?
I went at 5 weeks all excited and they could barely see anything, felt disappointed. Then at 7 weeks heartbeat was there. So waiting a bit is better na?
With my journey they scanned me a bit early to check things, but its normal to not see much before 6 weeks. Try not to panic if the first scan is too early. Your doctor times it so you actually see the heartbeat.
My doctor said a very early scan can show the sac around 5-6 weeks and the heartbeat usually around 6-7 weeks. Going too early sometimes shows nothing and worries you. So she advised waiting till about 6-7 weeks for a clearer scan.
