Test came positive 2 days back and im so excited to see something on scan. But not sure kab jaana chahiye, dont want to go too early and see nothing. Anyone know how soon the ultrasound actually shows?
Well, if you go too early like 4 weeks, you'll just see a tiny dot that looks like a sesame seed! Better to wait till 6 or 7 weeks so you can actually hear the heartbeat drumming away like a little rockstar. Patience is key here!
My doctor scheduled my first ultrasound at 7 weeks, which clearly showed the baby's progress. I had a C-section later on, and looking back, those early scan days were the start of such a gentle learning curve. Trust the process and your doctor's timing.
I went for my first scan at 6 weeks and we could see the tiny heartbeat! I'm in my second trimester now and still get butterflies before every ultrasound. Did anyone else feel super nervous before their early scans?
Because of my PCOS, my cycles were always irregular, so we couldn't rely on dates. My doctor did a dating scan around 6-7 weeks to check the gestational sac and heartbeat. Don't rush too early, sometimes going at 5 weeks can show nothing and cause unnecessary stress.
I totally understand that beautiful, anxious wait to see your little miracle on screen. Usually, a transvaginal ultrasound can detect the tiny sac around 5 to 6 weeks. It's the most emotional feeling in the world when you see that tiny heartbeat flicker!
