My last period was around 8th of last month and I just got a positive test. I keep getting confused with how they count the weeks vs from conception. How do I actually figure out how far along I am? My first appointment is still a week away.
Put your last period date into any pregnancy tracker app, it'll show weeks and due date instantly. Thats just an estimate though, a dating scan at the clinic confirms it properly. I used both.
The easiest way is to count from the first day of ur last period, doctors calculate weeks from there. But a dating scan gives the most accurate number. Go for an ultrasound and they'll tell you exactly.

Haan simple hai, last period ki pehli date se count karte hain na. Par sabse sahi to scan se pata chalta hai. Doctor ke paas jaake ek ultrasound karwa lo, sab clear ho jayega.
My gynac counted from the first day of my last menstrual period to figure out the weeks. Then at my first scan around 7-8 weeks they confirmed the dates more precisely. If your periods are irregular the scan matters more.
