Plan this test on a weekend or take a half-day off from work. Since you have to wait for 2 hours between blood draws, you can't leave the lab. Carry your laptop or some office work to utilize the waiting time.
It's a standard glucose tolerance test. You go empty stomach, they draw blood, then give you a very sweet sugary drink to finish in 5 mins, and then test your blood again after 1 and 2 hours. Just carry a book, it takes time.
