Bit of a basic doubt. After how many days from missing period does it actually show up properly on a test? I tested once and it was faint so im confused. Pls clear this for me.
No need to buy expensive kits early on. Just wait for 4-5 days after your missed period date and use a simple Prega News kit in the morning; it gives the most accurate results without any confusion.
I remember testing exactly 3 days after my missed period and getting a dark positive. Even after my C-section, I realized how important early detection is for planning your prenatal care properly, so do test early.
Well, technically you can detect it till the day you deliver, because those HCG hormones stay high! But if you mean the earliest, a home urine test works from day 1 of a missed period, or even earlier if you're carrying twins like I did!
While home tests work from your missed period date, if you have irregular cycles or any history of complications, a beta HCG blood test is much more accurate and can detect pregnancy even 10 days after ovulation. Please consult a doctor for a blood test.
