We had intimacy around my fertile window this month and now im just counting days. Dont want to test too soon and get a wrong result. After how many days does the test actually become reliable?
I tested like 2 days before period due and got a faint line, then a clear one after a few days. So waiting till the period is missed is honestly better. Did anyone else get fooled by an early faint line?
My gynac said wait at least till the day your period is due, ideally a day or two after, and use the first morning sample as hCG is most concentrated then. Testing earlier than that often gives an unclear result.
Resist the urge to test at 8dpo like I did, I drove myself mad with faint lines. Just wait till period is late and test in the morning. Trust me your peace of mind is worth those extra days.
Best to test the day after your missed period, thats when the kit reads clearly. If you test too early you get faint or false negatives and just stress yourself. With first morning urine for best accuracy.
