Bit of a basic doubt but i never really understood the timing of it all. Trying to plan and want to know how soon it actually happens after. Pls share if u know.
My doc explained that conception can happen within a few hours to a few days after, because sperm can survive a bit and wait for the egg. But implantation, the actual settling in, takes about a week or more after that. So a test only shows positive later, not next day.
It is not instant yaar. Fertilisation can take up to a few days, then implantation. Thats why testing too soon shows nothing. Wait till after your missed period.
