Me and hubby are trying this month and im so impatient lol. Dont want to test too early and get a wrong result and then cry for nothing. After how many days does the test actually show correctly?
My doc said the most accurate result is after your missed period, roughly 14 days after ovulation. Testing too early gives false negatives because hcg is still low. If you can wait a day or two after the missed date its even more reliable.
I tested 3 days before my period out of excitement and got negative, then positive after period was missed. So same, dont rush like I did, it just stressed me.
Best is to wait till you miss your period, then test with morning urine. I know the wait is hard but early testing just causes more confusion with faint or wrong results. Patience pays here.
