How many litres of water should i drink in pregnancy?
I feel like im always thirsty these days but also not sure if im drinking enough. Whats the right amount per day during pregnancy? want to keep myself and baccha hydrated properly.
Please make sure you stay hydrated, dear, as keeping your amniotic fluid levels healthy is so crucial for the baby's safety. I was extremely cautious about drinking at least 2.5 to 3 liters of water daily to prevent any infections or complications. Take care of yourself and drink water regularly.
My gynac advised drinking about 8 to 10 glasses, which is roughly 2 to 2.5 liters of water daily. Staying hydrated helps form the amniotic fluid, supports extra blood volume, and prevents urinary tract infections which are common in pregnancy. I monitored my intake using a marked bottle to make sure I hit the target.
Behen, kam se kam 2 se 3 litre pani roz peena chahiye, isse bache ko garmi nahi lagti aur humare pet mein pani ki kami nahi hoti. Ek botal apne paas hamesha bharke rakho aur thoda thoda peete raho. Apna dhyan rakhna achhe se.
Generally, 2.5 to 3 liters is the standard recommendation, but the exact amount can vary depending on your body weight and the weather. It is best to consult your doctor to understand your specific hydration needs. Just check your urine color—if it is pale yellow or clear, you are doing great!
Aim for around 2.5 liters of water per day, but don't force yourself to drink huge amounts all at once or you'll feel bloated. Keep sipping water, coconut water, or fresh buttermilk throughout the day to meet your fluid targets. It also helps a lot with pregnancy constipation and swelling.
