This is my first pregnancy and so far I have had 2 scans till 16 weeks. Just curious how many sonograms are normally done in the full nine months? dont want too many also, thoda confused.
Actually, standard 4 scans toh minimum hote hain yaar [1.2.2]. First is dating scan, then NT, then anomaly, and lastly growth scan around 8th month. Agar koi minor complication ho toh doctor thoda extra scan likh sakte hain.
I am planning to conceive soon and was curious about this too. Is it true that we get to hear the heartbeat in the very first dating scan? Sounds so exciting and emotional!
With both my kids, I had exactly 4 scans. Don't compare with others who get 8-10 scans, those are only done if there's high risk. If your gynac says everything is fine, then 3-4 scans are more than enough.
I had around 4 scans in total, and every time I saw the baby on the screen, I felt like crying with joy. The most important ones are the 12th week NT scan and the 20th week anomaly scan, which I felt were so crucial for peace of mind.
Dekho, standard pregnancy me 3 se 4 scans kafi hote hain agar sab normal hai toh. Falto me baar-baar scan karwane ki zarurat nahi hoti, bass doctor ki suno aur fikar mat karo.
I had terrible morning sickness, and lying down for those long anomaly scans was so hard because of the nausea. Usually there are about 4 main scans, so try to drink a little water and take deep breaths before your turn.
For our precious IVF pregnancy, we had many more scans, almost every 2-3 weeks in the beginning for monitoring. Normally, a standard pregnancy needs about 3 to 5 scans, so try not to stress, your doctor will guide you gently at every step.
