How much is too much exercise when trying to conceive?
We are trying from a few months and I usually do gym and brisk walking. Now I am wondering if pushing too much can affect ovulation or implantation, yaar. How did you all balance workouts while TTC?
Look, too much exercise can actually put stress on your body and mess with your hormones, which is the opposite of what you want when trying to conceive. Aim for moderate activity, like brisk walking, swimming, or gentle yoga. If you're feeling exhausted or your periods get irregular, that's a sign you're overdoing it. Don't push yourself unnecessarily.
Oh my god, I used to overthink this so much when we were trying! I was scared if I walked too much or too little, it would affect things. From what I gathered, don't do anything that makes you feel totally drained or stressed. Just gentle, regular movement. It's better to be on the safe side, right?
I totally understand that feeling of wanting to do everything perfectly to welcome your little one. It's such a tender time, full of hope. Just remember to be kind to yourself. Your body is preparing for something truly miraculous, so gentle movement and listening to its needs is a beautiful way to nurture yourself and your future baby.
Haha, 'too much exercise' sounds like an alien concept to me right now! But seriously, when I was trying, I just stuck to my daily walks. My gynac said anything that makes you huff and puff too much, or leaves you completely wiped out, might be a bit much. Listen to your body, it knows best!
When you're trying to conceive, managing your body's overall health is super important. My doctor always stressed moderation in everything. Just like with food, too much or too little exercise can affect your body. It’s always best to consult your gynac for a plan tailored to your health.
At the premium hospital where I was consulting, they always stressed the importance of discussing your exercise routine with your fertility specialist or gynac. They have specific guidelines based on individual health and reproductive history. It's always best to get personalized advice directly from them.
I can only share my experience, not medical advice. When I was trying, I just continued with my normal walks and gentle yoga. I didn't push myself too hard or try any new intense workouts. It felt right for me to keep things moderate and stress-free.
Yaar, actually, for TTC, balance is super important. High intensity workouts jo bohot exhaust kare, they might not be the best idea. My gynac said thoda moderate exercise is good for blood flow and mood, but no marathon running type stuff. Listen to your body, na.
Meri saas kehti thi, beta, sharir ko thoda aaram do jab baby ke liye try kar rahe ho. Humare ghar mein toh bolte hai zyada exertion nahi karna chahiye, normal walking theek hai. Listen to your elders, they usually know best.
My mother always told me to take it easy when trying for a baby. She said the body needs to be relaxed, not strained. So I just did light activities, like helping with ghar ke kaam and gentle strolls in the evening. It felt peaceful and right.
Generally, if you're trying to conceive, really strenuous exercise that leaves you feeling totally depleted or affects your cycle might be too much. Think about it like this: you want your body to be in a calm, balanced state, not under physical stress. Moderate exercise is usually okay, but anything extreme should probably be put on hold for a bit.
Too much exercise? *Sleep* is too much exercise for me these days, lol! Honestly, when trying to conceive, I think listening to your body is key. Don't go for extremes that exhaust you, because you'll need energy for baby-making, and then for baby-raising! 😉
Ho na, exercise is good, but too much is never good, especially when you're trying for baby. Just keep it light, like walking or some gentle yoga. Don't push yourself till you're super tired, haan na.
