I am eating home food mostly but sometimes I crave chips, burger, all nonsense. Then I feel guilty like I harmed baby by one meal. How often did you allow yourself junk during pregnancy?
I'd say be a little careful here. I got gestational diabetes so my doc made me cut down sugary and fried stuff a lot. Once in a while is fine but dont make it a habit, and if ur sugar tests are due keep that in mind.
Okay I will not lie, I ate my share of golgappe and fries haha. I just kept it occasional, like once a week treat, not daily. Cravings are real but balance is the trick.
Occasionally totally fine yaar, dont torture urself. Just watch the oily and very salty stuff coz it gives acidity and swelling. Moderation is the whole answer here.
My mother always said eat homemade mostly, junk only sometimes for the soul. I followed that. If u have any condition like BP or sugar though, better ask ur doctor what to limit.
Realistically on busy days I did order out sometimes, no guilt. Just dont let junk replace ur actual meals. I'd have a proper dal chawal and then the small treat, that worked.
