Just found out im 7 weeks pregnant, so happy but also nervous about everything. Me and my husband are unsure if its okay this early or if we should wait. A bit shy to ask the doctor directly honestly. How was it for u all?
My gynac said for a normal healthy pregnancy its generally safe, baby is well protected. The exception is if you have spotting, history of miscarriage or doctor advised rest. So mainly depends on your own case.
For me doc had asked to avoid it in first trimester because i had some bleeding earlier. So please ask your own gynac first, especially if there is any spotting or cramping. Every pregnancy is different.
Totally normal thing to wonder about, dont feel awkward. If your pregnancy is going smooth, its usually fine. But if you bleed or cramp after, stop and check with doc. Listen to your body.
I'll just gently say in IVF or high risk cases doctors often advise caution early on, like in mine. If your pregnancy is uncomplicated its different. The safest is to simply ask your doctor, no shame in it.
