We have a family function in another city and its a long road journey. Im in 2nd trimester so feeling okayish but still a bit unsure. Did u all travel? Was it fine?
Humare ghar mein toh saas-maa sab bolte hai ki pehle teen aur aakhri do mahine journey mat karo. Especially jerks wale raaste. Mere gynac ne bhi bola tha ki agar koi problem nahi hai toh beech ke months mein short travel kar sakte ho, but with lots of rest.
Yaar, agar morning sickness bahut zyaada hai na, toh travel karna toh impossible ho jaata hai. Maine toh pehle teen mahine kuch nahi kiya, bas ghar pe hi thi. If you're feeling okay, then maybe second trimester is fine. But carry all your meds and snacks! Pls ask your doc once.
It really depends on your trimester and overall health. I travelled in my second trimester, but I made sure to walk around a lot during flights and take breaks during road trips. My doctor gave me the green light after checking everything. Always get your gynac's clearance first!
For me, travel was tricky because of gestational diabetes. It was hard to stick to my diet and meal timings on the go. So if you have any health conditions, it becomes even more critical to discuss it with your doctor first. Don't take any chances, especially with food access.
My tracking app had a section on this! Generally, second trimester (14-28 weeks) is considered the safest for travel because morning sickness is usually gone and the risk of early complications is lower. But always check with your gynac first, especially if you have any existing conditions.
Oh, this is such a good question! I'm planning my pregnancy and was wondering the same thing. My sister told me she avoided long journeys completely in her first and third trimesters. It seems like a lot depends on how you're feeling and your doc's advice.
Dekho, ghar pe toh log bolte hai shuru ke 3 mahine aur last ke 2 mahine mat jao travel pe. Aur haan, long journeys avoid karna chahiye. Baaki beech mein chhota-mota travel thik hai agar koi complication nahi hai. Lekin best hai apne doc se pooch lena. Unki advice sabse important hai.
