We have a family function next month in another city and it needs a long train journey. Im 5 months along and a bit unsure if i should go. How was travel for those of u who did it midway through?
I travelled for work till 7th month, totally fine. Just keep breaks, walk a bit, carry water and snacks. The middle months are the easiest for travel honestly.
I overthought every trip honestly, kept worrying about bumps on the road. But my gynac calmed me, said short trips are okay if pregnancy is normal. Just avoid very long bumpy car rides na.
Depends a lot on your case yaar. If you have any bleeding, high BP or cramps then check with gynac first before booking anything. For a smooth pregnancy travel is usually fine.
My app and my doc both said 2nd trimester is the safest window to travel. After 34 weeks airlines also ask for a fit to fly letter. Just plan around your scan dates.
My family was worried about train travel but my doctor cleared it for the middle months. I carried my reports and water, and rested when tired. With the doctor's okay it was peaceful, dont worry.
