My test came positive 4 din pehle and gynac told me to come for a scan but im not sure if its too early na. Like will they even see anything this soon? thoda confused, pls share when did urs show up.
Don't rush into getting an ultrasound too early, beta. If you go before 6 weeks, sometimes they can't see the heartbeat clearly, and it just causes unnecessary panic for no reason. Wait till at least 6 or 7 weeks, everything will be perfectly fine.
In my experience, waiting till the 7th week is the best because then you can clearly see the tiny heartbeat. When I went too early at 5 weeks, the doctor could only see a sac and asked me to return later, which was so stressful. Take a deep breath and give it some time.
Generally, a proper dating scan is done around 6 to 7 weeks to detect the heartbeat. I got my first ultrasound done at my hospital at 6.5 weeks, and they had a very clear process. Just call your gynac's office and they will tell you the exact date to come in.
I'm currently 5 weeks and also wondering this! My doctor told me to wait till 7 weeks for the first scan. Are you also waiting or did you already get a positive home test?
