My period is couple days late and im getting impatient already haha. Dont want to test too early and get a wrong result. How soon is it actually okay to check?
I was so impatient that I tested 4 days before my period, but it showed a super faint line that made me more anxious! Save your energy, eat a nice bowl of your favorite food to distract yourself, and test only when your period is actually late.
According to my gynac, you should wait at least 14 days after ovulation or the first day of your missed period. Testing earlier can give false negatives because the hCG hormone levels are not high enough to detect in urine. It is medically more accurate to wait.
Actually yaar, wait till your period is missed. Don't waste money and get stressed by testing 10 days after sex, it doesn't work like that. Missed period day is the gold standard for home tests.
Please wait at least until the day of your missed period. I know how painful it is to see a faint line and then get disappointed later. Be very gentle with yourself and give your body some time before testing.
