My period is a couple days late and im so tempted to test already but dont want a wrong result. When did you all actually test and get an accurate answer? trying to figure out the right time.
Same question i had last month. I waited a week after missed period and the line was nice and clear. Earlier tests were so faint i couldnt even tell. So patience really helps with this one.
I was so impatient and tested early, got a negative and felt sad, but turned out i tested too soon. So now i tell everyone wait for the missed period, it gives a clearer result and saves the heartbreak.
Dont test the day after, you will just stress yourself yaar. Give it till your period is late, use morning pee, and if its faint retest in few days. The waiting part is the hardest, i know.
My gynac said the hormone takes time to build up, so testing on the day of missed period or a couple days after is most reliable. Morning sample is best. A blood test at a lab can confirm even earlier if youre anxious.
Wait till your period is at least one day late, then test with first morning urine. Testing too early gives faint or false results. If first one is negative but period still missing, repeat after 3-4 days.
