How soon to take a pregnancy test after conception?
We are trying and im so impatient yaar, want to test asap. But i know testing too soon gives wrong result. After conception how many days should i wait before it shows correctly?
I was so impatient and tested just 10 days after conception, but it was negative and I felt so down. But then on my missed period day, it was positive! Did anyone else also get a negative early on and then a positive later?
Personally, I waited until 2 days after my missed period to test. It was about 16 days after we tried, and I got a very clear, dark double line. Testing early just made me anxious for no reason.
Waiting 14 days after conception or until your missed period is ideal. While you wait, keep eating healthy, balanced meals and avoid processed junk. Keeping your body nourished is the best prep you can do.
Ah, the waiting game is the hardest part, I still remember it! Trust me, wait for at least 12 to 14 days after ovulation. Testing too early will only stress you out, so try to keep your mind busy and stay calm.
Biologically, implantation takes about 6-12 days after conception, and then hCG starts building up. So testing around 12-14 days after conception (or on missed period day) is the most reliable. Any earlier and the hormone levels might be too low to detect.
We are also trying right now, and I have read that waiting for 14 days after conception gives the most accurate result. It is so hard to wait, but trying to stay patient is best. All the very best to you!
It's best to wait at least 14 days after suspected conception, or ideally on the day of your missed period. I had some early pregnancy complications, so I learned that testing too early can give confusing weak lines. If you feel any pain or have doubts, consult a doctor.
