How to avoid stretch marks during pregnancy naturally?
Just entered my second trimester and my belly is starting to grow now. I want to take care of my skin before the marks even start, prefer natural stuff over creams full of chemicals. What worked for you ladies?
I felt bad seeing the first few lines appear but honestly a lot is just your genes and how skin stretches. I oiled my belly daily with coconut oil, it kept skin soft even if it didnt fully prevent them.
In our time we used malai and coconut oil massage daily, beta. It keeps the skin supple. May not stop all marks but skin stays soft and they fade more easily later.
Truthfully no magic remedy stops them fully, depends a lot on genetics. What helps is keeping skin moisturised and hydrated, drinking water and not putting on weight too fast. I used almond oil both times.
No need for expensive creams honestly. Plain coconut or mustard oil and a cheap moisturiser did the same job for me. Save your money, just be regular with it twice a day.
Just delivered last month. I got some marks despite oiling daily, but they have already started fading to lighter lines. They settle a lot after delivery so dont lose heart if a few show up.
