On my scan report they wrote some measurements but I couldnt understand how it becomes the baby length. Im 20 weeks now and just curious to track it myself. Can someone explain how its done?
Haan, scan reports me CRL likha hota hai na, wahi baby ki length hoti hai starting me. Don't worry too much about calculations, doctor sab regularly check karte hain.
No need to do complex math at home. Just look at your ultrasound scan reports where the doctor writes 'CRL' or 'FL', that is the most accurate measurement you can get.
Oh god, I used to search online baby length charts every day and worry if my baby was too small. Please don't stress, the ultrasound scan reports are the only way to know the actual crown-to-rump length safely.
I was reading about this! Apparently, in the early weeks, they measure from head to bottom (CRL), and later they measure head to toe. It's so fascinating how they track this.
The doctor calculates the length during regular scans using the baby's femur length. I used to ask my doctor during every scan before my C-section delivery, they explain it very nicely.
I just use those pregnancy apps that compare baby's length to fruits, like a banana or a papaya! It makes me hungry, but it's such a cute and simple way to imagine the baby's size.
