From the start of 2nd trimester im burping non stop, after every meal aur even when i just drink water. Its so awkward when im around people yaar. Anyone found something that actually helps reduce it?
Actually, dont run to the doctor and pay high consulting fees for normal things like burping. Try home remedies like a pinch of saunf after meals. Save that money because hospital delivery packages and baby items are getting so expensive nowadays!
My gynac at Motherhood hospital told me this happens because of progesterone relaxing the stomach muscles. They shared a great personalized diet plan with me to manage acid reflux, so definitely ask your doctor about it during your next scan visit.
I completely get how annoying and uncomfortable this burping can be, it honestly used to make me feel so restless. Try not to stress, it is just digestion slowing down to feed the baby. Sipping lukewarm water slowly throughout the day helped me a lot.
Oh god, this was literally me after binging on spicy pani puri! I just couldn't stop burping. Now I drink fresh coconut water or a little buttermilk after meals so I can still enjoy my favorite food without feeling like a gas balloon.
Dekho baby jaise grow karega, gas aur dakar toh aayegi hi. Heavy meals khana bandh karo, and eat in small portions throughout the day. Dinner ke baad 10 minutes walk compulsory rakho, automatic change dikhega.
Same here, faced this a lot in my second trimester. Just try sleeping with an extra pillow to keep your head elevated, it really prevents the gas from rising up.
