My report came and hemoglobin is on the lower side, doc looked a bit concerned. Im 5 months. Im trying to eat better but not sure what really helps. What did u all do to bring it up? pls share, thoda tension ho raha hai.
Having had gestational diabetes, I had to be super careful with my diet. While beetroot and leafy greens are great, if someone suggests things like jaggery, check with your doctor, especially if you have any sugar concerns. Best to stick to your doctor's iron supplements and a balanced diet they approve of.
Please don't try any remedies without consulting your doctor. Low hemoglobin can be quite serious in pregnancy and needs proper medical management. Your doctor will prescribe the right supplements and guide you on dietary changes. Never self-medicate or follow unverified advice, especially with complications possible.
Beti, low hemoglobin, yani khoon ki kami, ka dhyan rakhna bohot zaroori hai. Doctor jo davaai denge, woh toh leni hi hai. Uske saath, ghar mein anar ka juice, chukandar ka salad, aur khajoor (dates) khaaya karo. Hari sabziyaan bhi bahut faydemand hoti hain. Par doctor ki salaah sabse upar hai.
Haan ji, low hemoglobin common hai pregnancy mein. Doc aapko iron supplements denge, woh regular lena. Aur ghar pe na, chukandar (beetroot), palak (spinach), anar (pomegranate) ye sab khaana. Jaggery (gud) bhi acha hota hai. Par medicine mat chhodna!
Oh, this is such a common thing! My saasumaa used to constantly make me eat green leafy vegetables, dates, and jaggery because she said it's good for blood. And my doctor of course prescribed iron and folic acid supplements. Both are important, don't miss either.
