How to detect heartbeat in early pregnancy at home?
Im 8 weeks and so eager to hear my baccha's heartbeat already. My scan is still 2 weeks away and the wait is killing me. Is there any way to check at home or i should just be patient?
I was also searching if we can hear it at home, but from what I read, it's almost impossible in the early weeks. Even those home dopplers can be so tricky and just cause unnecessary panic. I think waiting for the first scan is the only real way.
Please do not try to detect the heartbeat at home, especially in early pregnancy. Home dopplers are not accurate and can cause huge anxiety if you can't find it. Always trust your gynac and wait for your scheduled ultrasound scans.
I wanted to track everything too, but there is no safe or reliable way to hear it at home so early. Just focus on your light walks and healthy routine if your doctor has allowed it. Leave the heartbeat detection to the professional scans.
Honestly, you cannot hear the heartbeat at home early on, not even with a stethoscope. I know the wait till the 7th or 8th week ultrasound is torture, but please don't buy those home dopplers. They just cause extra stress.
During my early weeks, I was also super anxious to hear the heartbeat, but my doctor strictly told me to avoid home kits. The medical ultrasound scan around 7 weeks is the safest and most beautiful way to hear it. Just try to relax until then.
