I love staying active and plan to do light yoga and walking post-delivery, but only after my gynac gives the green light. Forcing your body too soon can cause internal damage. Ask your doc what safe exercises you can start with.
My hospital actually gave me a whole session with a physiotherapist before discharge. They guide you on safe pelvic and abdominal exercises. Definitely ask your gynac or the hospital staff during your next visit, they have great post-natal experts.
Do check your thyroid levels first with your doctor. Mine fluctuated post pregnancy and that made losing weight so hard. Once my doc sorted my medication, things got much easier, so getting regular tests is super important.
Look, your body took 9 months to grow a baby, it won't go back in 9 days. Stop looking at those fitness models on Instagram. Just eat healthy, feed your baby, and start with simple walks when you feel ready.
Hey! 🌸 First of all, congratulations! Don't stress about the tummy right now, enjoy your little one. I just did light stretching and drank warm water, and slowly it started going back. You'll get there too! 😊
Honestly, don't rush into anything. For me, it took almost a year of basic walking and eating normal ghar ka khana to see any difference. Everyone's body behaves differently post-delivery, so just give yourself some time.
