Delivery ko almost 5 months ho gaye and my tummy skin is still so loose and saggy yaar. I dont like how it looks anymore. Did anything actually help u, oil, exercise, kuch bhi?
After a long IVF journey, I was just so grateful to have my baby that I tried not to stress about the loose skin [1.1.2]. Slowly, with light walking and keeping myself hydrated, it improved a bit. Please take your time, your recovery is much more important right now.
With office and baby, I barely have time for long gym sessions. I just started wearing a postpartum belt initially and did quick 10-minute core exercises when baby napped. Realistic goal rakho, it takes at least a year to see solid changes.
Honestly, I felt so conscious of my belly at first, it looked like a deflated balloon. But then I looked at my baby and realized my body did something amazing. Give it time, it took 9 months to stretch, it won't shrink in a day.
My hospital physiotherapy team gave me a customized postpartum exercise plan during my discharge. They explicitly told me not to rush into heavy workouts. Better to consult your gynac or a physical therapist before starting anything intense.
I completely understand how hard it is to see these changes in the mirror. It’s okay to feel sad about it, but please be kind to yourself. Your body grew a whole human being, that loose skin is a mark of your strength.
I'm in my second trimester and my bump is growing fast, but I'm already worrying about postpartum skin. Is it really hard to get back in shape? Do creams or oils actually help with elasticity later on?
