My lower back has been killing me since this week, im 24 weeks now and by evening i can barely sit straight. Tried changing pillows but no use. What worked for u all to ease it a bit?
I felt this so badly in my 6th month, couldnt even turn in bed properly. What saved me was sleeping on my left side with a pillow between my knees. Try it na, it really took the pressure off.
My gynac told me prenatal stretching is fine for me so I do those cat-cow type moves slowly. Helped my back a lot. But pls ask your doc first before any exercise, everyone's case is different.
Beta in our time we just used to do light sarso oil maalish on the back, very gently. Feels nice and relaxing. Nothing heavy though, and if pain is sharp then show doctor.
Get a firm pillow behind your lower back when you sit, that helped me both times. And dont stand too long in one place, keep shifting. A warm (not hot) bag on the back at night also works.
Sitting whole day at desk made mine worse. I started keeping a small cushion on my chair and taking a 2 min walk every hour. Small thing but it actually helped me get through office days.
Just be a bit careful, if the pain is very sharp or going down your legs or with any bleeding, dont ignore it, call your doctor. Normal dull achy back is common but better to mention it at your next checkup.
