My doctor had actually advised me to drink lots of water and coconut water to keep the levels up before my delivery. I had a C-section and let me tell you, keeping yourself hydrated pre-delivery helps so much in the recovery too. Just take it easy and drink up.
Oh god, I had such bad nausea, I couldn't even keep plain water down. What worked for me was sipping cold coconut water or fresh lemon juice slowly instead of gulping. Pls try taking small sips of water or buttermilk throughout the day to keep your levels up.
Hydration is super important but honestly, if your amniotic fluid levels are low, only your gynac can guide you properly. I used to track my daily intake with an app, but please consult your doctor once to see if you need specific supplements.
Just delivered last month and trust me, keeping a water bottle next to me 24/7 was the only way I kept my fluid levels normal. I also ate lots of cucumber and watermelon, which helped a lot. Keep sipping throughout the day, it really helps!
I felt so anxious when my scan showed slightly low water levels, I literally started crying. But my family comforted me and made sure I was drinking coconut water daily, plus loads of normal water. It really is a beautiful phase, just stay hydrated and don't take stress.
